The Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts two monthly networking events designed to connect local professionals, strengthen business relationships, and support our community. Lunch Mobs and Coffee Connections offer consistent, welcoming opportunities for Chamber and non-Chamber businesses to build meaningful connections while highlighting local Chamber Member hosts throughout the year.
What Are The Networking Events
The Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Networking Events are monthly, consistent opportunities for local professionals to connect, collaborate, and build relationships within the business community. These events are open to both Chamber and non-Chamber businesses and are intentionally designed to support local businesses through visibility, connection, and shared engagement.
With two event formats, Coffee Connection and Lunch Mob, businesses can participate in networking opportunities that fit a variety of schedules and workdays.
Lunch Mob
- Held
2nd Wednesday of each month
- 12:00 – 1:30 PM
- Hosted by a Chamber Member restaurant
- Networking over lunch
- Short host spotlight
Coffee Connection
- Held
4th Thursday of each month
- 8:00 – 9:30 AM
- Hosted by a Chamber Member business
- Morning networking with coffee & pastries
- Short host spotlight

Who can attend these events?
Both Chamber Members and non-Chamber businesses, along with their representatives, are welcome to attend Lunch Mob and Coffee Connection networking events.
Do I have to be a Chamber Member to host?
Yes. Hosting a Lunch Mob or Coffee Connection is a benefit available to active Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce members.
How many attendees should I expect?
Attendance can vary depending on the month, event type, and time of year. Hosts can typically expect anywhere from 10 to 30 attendees, with some events being smaller or larger. The Chamber actively promotes each event to encourage consistent participation throughout the year.
Can attendees bring promotional materials?
Yes. Attendees are welcome to bring business cards, flyers, brochures, or other promotional materials to share during the event.
What if my preferred month is unavailable?
If your preferred month is already booked, please contact the Chamber to discuss alternative dates or hosting opportunities:

Can I host more than one networking event in a year?
Yes. Businesses are welcome to host more than one Lunch Mob or Coffee Connection event, based on availability.
What if I’m interested in hosting an evening mixer instead?
If you are interested in hosting a different type of networking event, such as an evening mixer, please contact the Chamber to explore alternative options:
