The Oroville Walmart Supercenter will open for business this morning, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

An opening ceremony will begin at 7:30 a.m. and customers can enter the store afterward. The store on the 20.75-acre site at Feather River Boulevard and Cal Oak Road is about double the size of the city’s original Walmart, bringing in 85 new employees in addition to employees from the store it’s replacing on the corner of Feather River and Oro Dam boulevards.
