From a Press Release from Assemblyman James Gallagher’s Office

SACRAMENTO — Assemblyman James Gallagher (R-Yuba City) will be conducting a full-scale public survey to solicit feedback in the aftermath of the Oroville Dam crisis. The survey is an opportunity for impacted residents to provide input concerning the restoration and safety of their communities. This is the first wide-spread survey conducted in the North State since the evacuation occurred on February 12th.

“Please take the opportunity to participate in this survey so that we can help structure how to keep our families and our neighborhoods safe from future disasters,” said Gallagher. “Your input is extremely important in this recovery process, and so I encourage all residents to voice their opinions.”

In the coming days, a survey will be mailed to each residence in the evacuated areas where a registered voter resides. Survey results will be tabulated and shared with the California Department of Water Resources, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the State Water Contractors who finance the operations and maintenance of the Oroville Dam complex. Results will also be released to the public.
