OROVILLE NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AUGUST 1, 2017
MOVED TO THE MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM
OROVILLE, CA. JULY 25, 2017 –
The National Night Out community celebration scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2017 is being moved from Sank Park/The Lott Home to the Oroville Municipal Auditorium located at 1200 Myers Street. The event will run from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with an evening of free fun and entertainment. Food will be available, for purchase, from participating food trucks. Lots of parking below and adjacent to the auditorium. Come and meet City Council Members, Law Enforcement and Fire Department staff, Public Safety Officials, service clubs and other community organizations.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.
