The Green Line Tour

The Green Line Tour takes you to several points of interest in the scenic Oroville area. Below you will learn about these points. Riverbend Park features a stunning arched gateway that invites visitors to the Scenic Feather River. With several playground structures, gazebos, and access to the water it makes the perfect place for a day with the family.
Bedrock Park has easy access to the Feather River for those hot summer months. Inside there is also a skate and bike park for the exercise enthusiasts.

The C.F. Lott Home was built in 1856 by a gold rush pioneer. Come out for a nice picnic and admire the beautifully built gazebo and floral foliage throughout Sank Park that surrounds the home.
The Chinese Temple was built in 1863 to serve the largest community of Chinese north of Sacramento. This temple is still used for active worship today.

Bolt's Antique Tool Museum has a wealth of local information and history. Tools new and old cover every wall of this museum.
Centennial Plaza features a continuous waterfront promenade overlooking the Feather River. The walking path connects to the Brad Freeman Trail.

The Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce is the hub of visitor information for the City of Oroville and the Greater Oroville Area. Stop by anytime Monday through Friday between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The Ehmann Home is known as the house that olives built. The home was built by Freda Ehmann and her son in 1911 after she had perfected a curing process for ripe olives.

The Historic Oroville State Theatre has been around since 1928 and is home to a Wurlitzer organ. The theatre has a variety of shows and concerts that play throughout the year.
The Pioneer Museum was opened in 1932 by the Native Sons & Daughter of the Golden West. This museum is full of local history information.

The Feather River Nature Center & Native Plant Park sits on the bank of the Feather River below the Bath House. This point of interest is also on the path of the Brad Freeman Trail.
The Feather River Fish Hatchery & Diversion Dam offer an overlook onto the Feather River and in the fall, viewing windows to view the Chinook salmon. ​

The Oroville Dam offers a breath-taking walk across one of the largest earthen-filled dams in the Untied States.
You can also view the Oroville Dam at the Lake Oroville Visitor Center from their 47 foot tower. The Lake Oroville Visitor Center also offers recreational walks on almost every Saturday of the year.
